Diversity - Inclusion
Within the SNU and our many Churches, we have people from many cultures, needs, genders and preferences making this a unique and healthy culture within the family of Spiritualism.
This makes us a more complete, compassionate and growing society who would be mirrored by Spirit in their realms as all are a creation of God the divine being. A place where I feel there would not be a gate with a queue of newly or long-term discarnate souls awaiting entrance due to no wheelchair access, communication problems, cliques, heterosexual or perhaps white only signs above any heavenly gates. All being disgraceful, unworkable and unethical within the SNU and Spiritualism. All are welcome and I would point any to these three Principles, 2. The Brotherhood of Man, we are all related. 5. Personal Responsibility, it is our life and our choice how we live it and with who. And the 6th Principle, Compensation and Retribution Hereafter for all the Good and Evil Deeds done on Earth, how can a loving relationship be anything other than good and those opposing through bigoted opinions be anything other than divisive and evil?
Much work has been undertaken within the SNU by our Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Anne-Marie Bond. Looking at the challenges of dyslexia for instance and how to work with this uniqueness alongside many other aspects of the many people within our movement. We do look very seriously at bullying, prejudice, homophobia, gender preferences, special needs and any form of discrimination and working with any who need consideration to access our buildings and services. I am here to help as this loosely would, I feel come under the Healing Umbrella. Are you discriminated against? Does the Church you attend or wish to not accommodate your body's requirements in any way? Are you in need of assistance in coming out? Drugs, alcohol or emotional problems? I do not know it all in these sensitive and important matters, but if you do contact me in absolute anonymity, I will spend time with you and look to help you and our Churches to find resolutions. Email address given after contact made, phone and Zoom are outlets we can use and will reply as soon as I see the message or call from fellow Spiritualists. Help is here, sometimes we do need to dig deep to find it, though from Spirit, it is naturally there.
